As part of Pensacola State College's decision to end WSRE's affiliation with PBS, the station's donor memberships and member benefits, including PBS Passport, were also discontinued. We know this has been disappointing for many loyal viewers, and we appreciate your patience during this transition.

The good news is that PBS worked with a group of dedicated citizens to establish a new local connection for viewers throughout the Pensacola and Gulf Coast region. With Emerald Coast PBS, you'll be able to once again enjoy your favorite PBS programs, enjoy Emerald Coast PBS Passport as one of the benefits of Emerald Coast PBS membership, and reconnect with a local PBS presence dedicated to serving our community.

We anticipate the broadcast launch of Emerald Coast PBS will take place on November 1st, 2026. In the meantime, you can stream many of your favorite PBS shows via the PBS app. Our team is working hard to purchase and install the equipment needed to launch the broadcast.
